Wheelchair Therapist
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled individual that can play a leading role in developing the wheelchair service of the Community Equipment Service (CES).
The post holder will be expected to ensure a systematic and co-ordinated approach to clinical wheelchair management exists in relation to the services functions and products. This includes clinical evaluation of products, clinical audits of service functions/processes, clinically related quality assurance and performance management, learning and development and clinical health and safety related matters.
The successful applicant will need to be a state registered occupational therapist or physiotherapist, ideally with experience in wheelchairs.
The post holder will also need to demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to effectively manage a range of internal and external stakeholders related to clinical matters. This includes service users, professionals and commercial suppliers.
